A national licence claim can mislead
Canada does not offer one universal commercial online casino licence for every province. Ask which provincial framework allegedly authorises the exact service being marketed.
An overseas licence can describe foreign supervision without establishing permission under the relevant Canadian framework. A maple leaf logo and Canadian dollar deposits prove little.
Foreign oversight is not provincial approval
Ontario's regulated private market should not be used as evidence of authorisation elsewhere. Likewise, absence from Ontario does not by itself describe every other province's arrangements.
If a dispute arises, establish the contracting business and available complaint body. Do not assume a provincial authority can recover money from any website accepting Canadians.
